ThxSoMch's Debut Album and Upcoming Tour
Toronto punk artist ThxSoMch, whose real name is Carter De Filippis, is set to release his first album, The Sound of You Laughing, on August 29 through Atlantic Records. The album, produced by grayskies and Mike Crossey, was recorded over a seven-month period in Brazil and is characterized as a "fast-paced, exhilarating and honest examination of the self and life's impermanence." He hopes the album will serve as a source of comfort for others during tough times. Alongside the album announcement, ThxSoMch has released two singles, "Would You?" and "Sound of You Laughing," featuring Flawed Mangoes. Additionally, he will embark on a North American tour starting September 22, visiting cities like Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, and Toronto, concluding with a performance in Minneapolis on November 8. Tickets will be available soon for fans eager to catch his live shows.
